Paloma Picasso (daughter of famed artist Pablo Picasso) was born April 19, 1949 in Vallauris France. Surrounded by artists from a very young age, Paloma worked as a costume designer when some of her jewelry creations caught the attention of critics. She then went on to design jewelry for Zolotas, Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co. She eventually launched her own line, creating perfume and designer accessories.
